Where Has My Furniture Gone

“My whole world is now black ,”said Pavni. “Oh! My god I’ve become blind ”said she.

Pavni is staying in Boston , Massachusetts is of 56 years old and has been abandoned by his children who married and left her 7 years ago.

It was the month of January when she became partially blind . She with the help of her loyal Maid, Maria called one of her childhood friend and went to Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary . There they meet Dr.Michael Rana a renowned eye specialist.

“Doctor one morning when I woke I could see everything but very hazily, “said Pavni.

“Ok! Wait a minute I’ll have a test of your eyes ,”said the Doctor.

The Doctor then started his testing of the eyes .His face wasn’t much filled with sadness and dissatisfaction.

“Oh! Madam you are lucky,”said the Doctor “Your disease is cure able”.

“Thank you ,”said Pavani “I’ll think of it and then meet you again.”

“Sure Ma’am I’ll be always available at your service ,”said He “Here is my number”.

They all returned home Pavni sat on a discussion with her friend about the treatment .They called up the Doctor and took detailed information about the time required for complete treatment, charges and the risks involved in it.

The next day they both went to the hospital and met the Doctor . The Doctor prescribed some pre-surgical medication. He then told her to come back after ten days.

Pavni’s friend bought all the medical necessities and gave it to Pavni. Pavni’s maid daily served her with care and gave the medications on time without any delay.

On the eleventh day they went to the Doctor and told her that there was some good effect. She then told him that she wanted to start the latest by next week. Doctor agreed and then started discussing about the charges and the payment. Pavni told him that if the treatment was successful she would pay the whole amount , but if it failed and if there wasn’t any improvement , she wouldn’t even pay a single Dollar. The Doctor promised of the treatment’s success and his experience in the surgery.

She came to the hospital on the day which the Doctor had told her to come and would start her treatment. She got herself admitted in the hospital. On that very day the Doctor attended her at her room. He decided to started the treatment from next day.

The next day the Doctor performed his first surgery on that lady. The first step was successful . He came to Pavni’s room and diagnosed her condition and her improvement .He told Pavni that there was quite improvement .He then told that she will have to pay the amount of the till time treatment to further proceed on with the treatment. She told that she would pay the amount after the overall treatment has been completed. Both were stuck on each other’s words.

So the Doctor decided to continue by selling Pavni’s home furniture without informing her . So he went to her house and took all her furniture and then sold it to a shop selling second hand furniture.

One after one when all the surgeries were completed he went and met Pavni in her room . She was totally cured off her blindness . She told thanks to her Doctor. She then went home.

Next day she went to the Police Station and logged a case against the Doctor. On the first day the Jury asked for Pavni’s complaint. She told that she still couldn’t see many things and told that it was due to the bad treatment of the Doctor . The Doctor then told that during the final test she was totally fine and went home totally fine with total improvement. Pavni told against him that when she returned home her furniture was not visible . Thus the judge gave verdict in favour of Pavni and according to the agreement made between Pavni and the Doctor , he had to pay all the charges which the Doctor took for the treatment .

The moral therefore is we should not do anything to other’s properties which doesn’t belong to you and should always inform the person concerned.
